Inspiring Working Conditions

The demands on each individual and on the collaboration of all associates have changed rapidly in recent years. That’s why the Bosch Group launched the “Inspiring Working Conditions” (IWC) project; its aim was to set up a framework that is right for Bosch for developing basic conditions for HR management, IT tools, and office and working environments. Following international field tests at a number of Bosch locations, the IT department of Bosch Packaging Technology launched a pilot phase for IWC in late 2014. Bosch plans acquisition of Kliklok-Woodman Corporation

Packaging Technology is planning to acquire Kliklok-Woodman Corporation, based in Decatur, Georgia, U.S.A. Agreements to this effect were signed on September 21, 2015. Kliklok- Woodman is a globally recognized manufacturer of packaging machinery for the food industry. The company employs some 240 associates and supplies customers worldwide from its U.S.-headquarters and a second manufacturing facility, Kliklok International Ltd. located in Bristol, United Kingdom. …more

Bosch closes acquisition of Osgood Industries in USA

Bosch Packaging Technology has closed its acquisition of Osgood Industries, Inc., based in Oldsmar, Florida, a filling and packaging machine specialist. The antitrust authorities have approved the appropriate documents. Bosch thereby further strengthens its engagement in the liquid food industry in North America and additional markets. With sales of approximately 26 million USD in 2014, Osgood Industries employs about 150 associates. It has been agreed that the purchase price will not be disclosed. …more

Bosch Packaging Technology continues growth path

Bosch Packaging Technology remained on a growth path in 2014. The Bosch division’s sales revenue for the fiscal year increased by 70 million euros to around 1.18 billion euros, which corresponds to a nominal growth rate of 6.3 percent. …more

World Health Day 2015

April 7 was World Health Day and this year the focus was on food safety. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that some two million people die each year from infections caused by contaminated food or drinking water.
