The Central Fractionation Unit of the Belgian Red Cross (C.A.F.-D.C.F.) presented Pharmatec, a Bosch Packaging Technology company, with such a challenge. Bosch plans to acquire Tecsor in France – Entry into PET blow-molding technology

Bosch Packaging Technology, a leading supplier of process and packaging technology, plans to acquire the assets of Tecsor Machines et Systèmes S.A.S., based in Meyreuil near Marseille, France. Agreements to this effect were signed on June 11, 2013. Tecsor develops and sells machinery for making and filling PET containers for liquid and paste-like foodstuffs. Set up in 2005, the company generated sales of roughly two million euros in 2012. Tecsor employs 14 associates. It has been agreed that the purchase price will not be disclosed. Bosch presents process and inspection technology at the exhibition Interphex in Tokyo

At the 26th Interphex in Tokyo, Japan from July 10 to 12, Bosch Packaging Technology presented highlights from its comprehensive pharmaceutical portfolio. Highlights have been the FLT vial filling and closing machine, which is the ideal solution to automate manual vial filler operations for low production or laboratory environments and the laboratory device tablet press Xpress 100 which represents the process technology section. Novelties in inspection technology included the KKX 3900 inspection unit for filled capsules and the ETIM5-0700 tablet inspection machine.
