Escaping the data maze

Machinery and processes are highly complex – and if you don’t want to get lost in Big Data, a thorough evaluation of the information is paramount. The expenses are likely to pay off: data transparency helps you optimize your equipment, leading to high availability and transparency of your machines. This is where Bosch’s various Industry 4.0 solutions come into play, which we will showcase in detail at Achema in Frankfurt.

Raising the data treasure

You’re wondering why your machine doesn’t achieve the same quality anymore? Then our new Data Mining Service for solid dosage forms is what you need: We evaluate existing machine data to identify and eliminate root causes. Besides our industry expertise, most recent statistical methods are key to examining large amounts of data for the smallest effects and to reveal an undetected cascade of connections. In general, data from two production batches is already sufficient to draw first conclusions. This way, you can continuously optimize your processes and equipment – and achieve top product quality!

All eyes on machine data

But what to do if you want to monitor individual machines or complete lines during operation? In this case, you may find valuable support with our Pharma Manufacturing Execution System. At Achema, Bosch presents the Pharma i 4.0 Starter Edition that allows you to easily monitor machine and process parameters thanks to a clearly structured visualization. The Starter Edition provides essential data in real-time, e.g. regarding overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), condition monitoring or alarm messages. This helps you react adequately – and ensure high availability and performance of your machines at all times.

Have we sparked your interest? Then meet our experts from June, 11 to 15, at Achema in Frankfurt in hall 3.1, booth C71.
