Product loss during the production of injection solutions is both annoying and expensive. Especially when it comes to cost-intensive active ingredients where each drop is valuable. That is why Bosch has equipped the new SVP250 LF processing system with process vessels in conical shape that minimize product loss during the emptying process. This year, we will present the system for production of injection solutions (small-volume parenteral solutions, SVP) in small batches of 15 to 250 liters at Achema for the first time.
Maximum flexibility thanks to modular design
A major feature of the processing system is the modular design: “Depending on customer preferences, the design allows the system to be expanded with additional process vessels, and modules to be flexibly exchanged,” explains Dr. John Medina, sales director at the Bosch subsidiary Pharmatec. This allows you to install the system quickly and precisely for different temperature-control concepts and various media such as powders, liquids or gases. For aseptic batch preparation, the processing system features a module for two-stage sterile filtration and an optional laminar flow hood. It generates a low-turbulence air flow to prevent particles from entering the filling area. The technical and cleanroom area are separated through an integrated cleanroom wall. As a result, the cleanroom area is compact and easily accessible.
Industry 4.0 live experience
A sample line configuration that consists of an SVP preparation system and ALF 5000 filling and closing machine will be a special highlight at Achema. Using an Industry 4.0 application, we demonstrate how the machine data converges in one system and is visually processed. Your advantage: more transparency during production and thus optimal production planning as well as maximum capacity utilization.
