One summit, many innovations

On September 28 and 29, 2017, industry experts will meet in Barcelona for the third Pre-Filled Syringes Summit. Needless to say, Bosch Packaging Technology and our syringes expert Klaus Ullherr are part of the lineup!

Apart from current market developments and pre-filled syringes trends, the agenda includes regulatory changes, new machine and material designs, as well as customer use cases. The participants will discuss the advantages of pre-filled syringes and further injection devices, always with a strong focus on maintaining the highest quality standards and ensuring an easy application for patients.

Multifunctional and efficient

What do pharmaceutical producers need to fulfil the growing demands for flexibility of both products and packaging types? Which filling systems are suited for small, which ones for large batches? How is process sterility ensured? And which technologies are available to prevent product loss during filling? Klaus Ullherr will answer all these questions in Barcelona. With his more than 17 years of experience in the development of innovative fill-finish solutions, he knows exactly how pre-filled syringes can be processed flexibly and efficiently – in combination with pre-sterilized vials and cartridges on one multifunctional platform.

Practical experience

Based on customer use cases and mock-up studies, he will show how single-use filling systems can save time and costs. Moreover, Ullherr will describe the use of robotic solutions in the syringe filling process, and explain how machine operators and highly potent products can be protected from each other effectively. Are you curious and want to find out more? Further information about the summit is available here. In case you can’t participate, our expert will be happy to answer your questions in an individual appointment. Please feel free to contact us!
