At interpack, Bosch will present two solutions for dairy and other pumpable food: the Osgood rotary fill and seal machine and the latest Ampack aseptic linear fill and seal machine. Both solutions are designed for filling liquid and viscous products into pre-made cups. With over 50 years of experience in clean, ultra-clean and aseptic filling technologies, Bosch focused on key market requirements, such as hygienic operation, various levels of output, compact footprint, and ease of use.
Ensuring highest product safety
Ampack’s new aseptic linear filling and sealing machine for dairy, baby food and clinical nutrition is designed to enhance product safety. It features a smaller aseptic chamber, which improves product control, thus minimizing the risk of food contamination. Additionally, the machine chain is kept outside of the aseptic chamber, limiting bacterial build-up and reducing maintenance needs. The eight-lane linear filler handles two different cup formats at speeds of up to 20,000 cups per hour. Offering two different hygienic executions (ultra-clean or aseptic), it is ideal for products requiring a longer shelf life– from 4-6 weeks or up to 12 months, the highest level available on the market.
Maximum features, minimum footprint
For dairy, hummus, salads and similar foods, Bosch presents an upgraded version of its Osgood rotary series. Handling smaller cups at speeds of up to 9,600 products per hour on four lanes, it is a good alternative for manufacturers with limited space. Available in both clean and ultra-clean execution, the machine can fill a range of different pack styles, for example, round and square cups with trays, seals with pre-die cut foils or roll stock film. The rotary filler is also equipped with a new harmonized pump design, offering higher filling accuracy and easier interchangeability between different machines.
Customized services for all maintenance strategies
A comprehensive range of services to improve machine efficiency and productivity completes Bosch’s line competence. The focus is on solutions for preventive maintenance as well as services to eliminate unwanted machine conditions as quickly as possible. To this end, Bosch provides a worldwide service network with qualified field service technicians who offer regional support. Thanks to digital services such as Remote Service, which is now supported by a visualization and chat feature, or the mobile version of the E-Portal, which will be presented at Interpack 2017, customers receive targeted support regardless of their location. Bosch will further showcase the versatile training portfolio of the Bosch Packaging Academy. Apart from new assistance solutions, Bosch will demonstrate virtual training concepts enabling manufacturers to acquire demand-oriented know-how for machine operation and maintenance. Bosch will also illustrate how Preventive Maintenance Parts Kits and tailor-made maintenance agreements help to proactively minimize unplanned downtime.
