As of November 2016, a new regional hub is available for your service enquiries in the Southeast Asia & Pacific region. While most service enquiries were previously handled from Europe, the new hub based in Bangkok, Thailand, now offers you a direct contact in your region for most efficient support.

“Thanks to the new service hub, we are able to handle all processes 100 percent locally. This will speed up our work significantly and will allow us to fully adapt to the specific local requirements,” explains Erwin Panwinkler, General Manager of the new Southeast Asia hub. Together with his team of 22 colleagues in five different countries he provides comprehensive support for the entire Bosch Packaging pharma and food machinery portfolio. “Thanks to the new structures, we are able to offer tailored support and process orders faster, for example through easier customs handling”. Since the new hub is located at the Thai production site, an extended local storage for spare parts is planned, which would further speed up lead times.
Moreover, we are investing in comprehensive trainings for our engineers to offer you even better and faster local services. To prepare them for their on-site support at your production facility, our worldwide training platform Bosch Packaging Academy not only provides customer training sessions but also organizes trainings for our own associates. Following the positive feedback to a Service Engineer Pro training in Germany, this training was also being held in Asia for the first time. Last month, for instance, Bosch service engineers gathered in Hangzhou, China, to strengthen their electrical and mechanical skills, as well as soft skills. More training and seminars will follow around the world to make sure that you continue receiving the best possible support – wherever and whenever you need it.

This autumn, the Bosch Packaging Academy’s Service Engineer Pro Training (“SE Pro”) took place in Hangzhou, China. It not only strengthened the technical know-how of the service engineers, but also fostered the participants’ soft skills– for a fast and effective customer support.
