Bosch intends to acquire Ampack Ammann

Ampack

Bosch Packaging Technology complements its existing portfolio for the filling and packaging of liquid and paste-like foodstuffs. On July 20, 2012, the corresponding agreements to acquire Ampack Ammann, located in Königsbrunn near Nuremberg, were signed. The planned takeover is subject to approval by the antitrust authorities.

Ampack Amman develops manufactures and sells equipment for the filling and packaging of liquid and paste-like foodstuffs, including cup and bottle filling machines to fill and pack highly sensible food such as dairy products and baby food. The family-owned company, established in 1973, employs about 250 associates and has generated average sales of some 35 million euros over the past few years.
