Construction project in Crailsheim, Germany, advances in rapid strides

With the topping-out of the new assembly hall on July 6, 2012, the expansion of the Bosch Packaging Technology location Crailsheim, Germany, reached an important milestone. The site extension is complemented by a new office building.

On July 6, 2012, general site management and associates celebrated the topping-out of the new assembly hall in Crailheim. Representatives of federal and local politics as well as Friedbert Klefenz, President of Bosch Packaging Technology, joined the festivities.

In addition to the new assembly hall, which will offer another 6600 square meters of space, the construction project also includes a new office building. While the facility is expected to be operational in November this year, moving into the new offices is planned for May 2013.

As a manufacturer of large-scale installations for the sterile filling and packaging of liquid pharmaceuticals, the Bosch Packaging Technology location in Crailsheim is an important regional employer. The plant extension not only enlarges production capacity but also generates 70 new jobs.
