Anuga FoodTec, Cologne, Germany
Bosch Packaging Technology will implement global launches for two new filling solutions for liquid foods including the new SurePOUCH flexible pack style and the new thermoforming clean-fill machine, TFC.
The new SurePOUCH stand-up flexible pack styles will allow for multiple packaging and fitment options for a high level of flexibility and shelf differentiation. Hands-on product samples are provided to experience the various sizes and test the easy-opening performance. Bosch will be exhibiting the new SPC non-aseptic filler as well as the new TFC clean-fill thermoforming machine. This addition to the Bosch portfolio of forming and filling technologies, provides manufacturers with a solution for the filling of fresh products and foods requiring extended shelf life.
Bosch will also launch a new service product – Preventive Maintenance. The aim of this service is to ensure that appropriate maintenance activities are conducted at scheduled intervals. Through the modular approach of the Preventive Maintenance service, Bosch enables customers to reduce losses and increase uptime and profitability with the ideal service agreement.

Interphex, New York, USA
At Interphex 2012, Bosch Packaging Technology underscores its position as a full-range provider of process and packaging solutions for the pharmaceutical industry. The company presents its wide range of filling machines for syringes, capsules and vials and showcases an entire syringe filling line. The new capsule filler GKF 702 will make its first US appearance at Interphex. Also on display: recent portfolio acquisitions from Hüttlin and Manesty, specialized in drying and granulation equipment of powder for the production of pharmaceuticals, tablet presses and coaters. Bosch’s trade show presence will be rounded off by comprehensive stock optimization services.
One of the exhibition highlights is the fully integrated FXS filling line for pre-sterilized syringes in nests. The line includes an ABO fully automated bag opener, an ATO fully automated tub opener and a FXS 3100 syringe filler. The combi-filling station allows the products to be filled either with traditional or single-use product paths, for example with the PreVAS disposable dosing system. The combi system can be used with either rolling diaphragm or peristaltic pumps. The line further features an in-process automated checkweigh station. The reject station, which is situated outside of the aseptic filling zone, permits the targeted removal of only defective syringes.
Additionally, the new GKF 702 capsule filling machine is exhibited for the first time in the USA. The successor of the GKF 701 is suited for all filling technologies. The GKF 702 capsule filling machine has been designed to produce small batches right in the laboratory.
In 2011, Bosch Packaging Technology acquired process technology manufacturers Hüttlin and Manesty. Bosch Packaging Technology Ltd. (previously Manesty), situated in Knowsley/England, is known for the development of high-quality tablet coating and press systems. Hüttlin, based in Schopfheim/Germany, is specialized in process equipment for the drying, granulation and coating of fine powders and pellets.
