- Circular filling and capping machine with an indexing motion for opened and closed ampoules
- Filling of both ampoules and injection bottles in combination optional
- Designed for small batch industrial production with production rates up to 120 per minute
With the development of the ARF 1010/1020 Bosch Packaging Technology completes its machine portfolio for small batch industrial production with production rates up to 120/min. The ARF 10×0 is the optimal solution for the small batch industrial production of ampoules, both closed and open. Closed ampoules can be processed easily with an opening station on the machine. “The ARF 10×0 can additionally be made a combination machine for the processing of injection bottles,” explains product manager Klaus Schreiber. “The new machine is characterized by its compact design, with very good accessibility and especially with a laminar flow friendly design of the working stations.”
The ARF 1020 for the filling and closing of opened ampoules consists of two gassing stations (pre-filling and post-filling gassing), a two position filling station with servo controlled rotary valve piston pumps, and a digital flowmeter for the easy and thorough reproduction of the flame regulation for the closing of the ampoules. The ignition of the flame takes place automatically and can be easily activated from the machine’s operator interface. The machine is loaded with ampoules or injection bottles via an inclined loading station. The containers are then singularizing by a scroll conveyer loaded into the transport starwheel, which runs with an indexing motion. The starwheel gently transports the containers, in a low particle and laminar friendly way through the working stations.
Introduction onto the market has been successful and there are first references in Germany, Europe and Asia. So far, the ARF has been sold both as single machine and as part of an entire production line with cleaning machine and sterilization tunnel. After the first presentation of the machine at this year’s Interpack 2011 in Dusseldorf, Germany, a showroom machine type ARF 1020 will be shown at national exhibitions in the target markets such as Indonesia, Spain, India and Latin America.
The ARF series of Bosch Packaging Technology was developed according to latest trends and technologies. The ARF 10×0 has a gentle transport system without rigid bottoms or side guides, which guarantees an almost frictionless transport as well as a newly designed closing station ideal for the use in clean rooms. Bosch Packaging Technology has proved its ability to develop compact machines for small batch industrial production according to their high quality standards.
